Missed Deadline
In more than ten years of writing this column, I can't remember missing a posting deadline. Of course, if you read a recent column on memory, you'll know that there's the distinct possibility that I've inadvertently revised that memory on recalling it and restoring it sometime in the past. Be that as it may, I'm missing today's deadline, thanks to what I feel are extenuating circumstances. Yesterday, we spent a goodly portion of the day at various medical facilities determining that my wife did not have a blood clot in her painful leg. I wasn't up to finishing my column and today we have matinee theater tickets.
Hopefully, I'll post the column tomorrow, September 18.
