–I see Marion Jones is about to get nailed in the BALCO
scandal.

each communication with “Mets Blow!”

–And how ”bout a big Yankees suck! The first thing I did when
checking the Net upon arriving in Hong Kong was to see that the
Yanks were swept. Awesome.

story everywhere but in America, it seems.

–Was Eli Manning worth Philip Rivers and a first-round pick
next year? I don”t think so. Rivers will be just as good.

–We note the passing of Art Devlin. For those of you who watched
”ABC”s Wide World of Sports” in its glory years, Devlin was a
fixture covering alpine events. He always seemed like a cool guy.

Devlin competed in two Winter Games for the U.S. as a ski jumper
and, more importantly, he was a World War II hero earning the
Distinguished Flying Cross and Purple Heart. Art Devlin was 81.

–Congratulations to Charlie Sifford for being the first black
selected for the World Golf Hall of Fame. It’s long overdue.

–If you live on the west coast of New Zealand’s north island and
like to go deep sea fishing, please be careful. There is a GIANT
GREAT WHITE SHARK in this vicinity.

–My flight to Hong Kong was 15 1/2 hours. Ugh. Then I arrived
