Well, sports fans…Geek Squad was just over and I may have a short-term fix but can’t work on that until the weekend. If I have a car, but that’s a different story.
For now, I didn’t follow the markets closely today as I was trying to put a huge dent in Week in Review, while waiting for tech help and dealing with an insurance company. [Of course I had to watch The Open at Royal Portrush, too.]
We did have a stronger than expected retail sales figure for June, up a very solid 0.6%, and up 0.5% ex-vehicles, also above consensus.
